Who’s That Feathered Friend? is a free iOS app (iOS version 18 or later) that identifies birds from photos. Given a photo of a bird, or a flock of birds, it will try to identify the species as precisely as it can. If it can only reliably tell you a genus or family instead of species, it will do that instead, and tell you the most likely species. It is built on BioCLIP 2 with a fair amount of custom pieces.
It runs entirely offline on your phone, and never shares your photos or data with anyone.
